Wow, we've had a lot of traffic today!

Not bad for the first day the site has been up. A couple bumps:

The css was buggy for views using IE (yeah, you would think I would have checked that my site displays properly with the most common browser around, but you'd be wrong. I put a quick fix to make it useable, I'll pretty it up later.

Had some down time. I did some maintenance with regular expressions, and it didn't work out so well, so things were down for a little while. Sorry about that.

I've seen some requests for information about contributions for particular candidates. I really like the idea, and am looking into it.

I'll be making this front page a blog too, so I can get some feedback about the site in general.

You have to register to post comments. I won't use the information for anything, I'm just trying to avoid the comment spam.

Welcome,

This site was built to provide current information on what our representatives are doing in Congress! I update the site every morning, so feel free to bookmark, or subscribe to the rss feeds of your reps.

There are plenty of political sites out there that list current legislation. Most of those gave me a headache with their busy designs. Many of them also only included "selected legislation", causing me to question their objectivity. I couldn't seem to find a site that would just keep me up to date with my elected officials activity, so I created one. As long as I was going to the trouble, I added all the congressmen.

If you don't know who your representative is (Shame on you), check out Project Vote Smart. You'll need to know your 9 digit ZIP code. (You can get that here)

Once you have this information, just click on your state to the right for links to your Senators and Representatives.

Notice:

This site site is still a work in progress. I plan to add my own blog, as well as more information about each representative, such as voting records and committee activites.
